History of Strategic SecurityOur history begins over 45 years ago with the founding of Rodgers Police Patrol in San Diego. We continue to be one of San Diego’s oldest and most experienced security companies. Our merger with Command Security Corporation has expanding our services and our reach to include all of the United States. As our company grew, many clients looked to us to provide more than just patrol services. As Strategic Security grew in Southern California, clients asked for our outstanding services in other geographic areas. After much planning and consideration, we opened our first remote branch office in the Silicon Valley area of Northern California in 1990 specifically at the request of a Fortune 500 high technology company. That company is still a client today. Strategic Security was founded by George Rodger. In 1980, Hal Brown bought the company from the original founder. The family is still involved today with Marc Brown who is President of Strategic and Vice President of the Western Region for Command Security. He is supported by a strong dedicated team of professionals throughout California with corporate support from Command Security in New York. Our management staff is composed of business and security professionals concerned for your safety and the prevention of loss. In April of 2007, Strategic Security merged with Command Security Corporation. Command is headquartered in Lagrangeville, New York and has offices through out the East Coast and Midwest. They provide security officer services and specialized services for the aviation industry through their Aviation Safeguards division. The merger has strengthened both companies and positions us to be a major national provider. We continue the vision and commitment of our founder to provide the best possible service for our clients and a family oriented atmosphere for our employees.
