Recruiting

We go well beyond the traditional industry recruiting source of newspaper classified advertising. To find as many qualified candidates as possible, we find creative sources to help us in identifying them. Sources we currently use include:

  • California Employment Development Department
  • Local Military and Veteran Organizations
  • Local Diversity Organizations
  • Local Educational Institutions Including Junior Colleges and Colleges
  • Local Religious and Non-Profit Organizations
  • Local and County Job Assistance Organizations

Another important recruiting source and actually one of our best sources is referrals from our security officers. With our weekly pay, low turnover, superior benefits and our management commitment to take special care of our officers, we find that those applicants referred by our employees rank above other applicants and more closely fit our profile for professional security officers. We pay a referral bonus to any security officer whose referral is hired and works for us for over 90 days. The program bonus is currently $100.00.
