Security Officer Eligibility Requirements
To be a security officer for Strategic Security, you must be able to answer yes to the following questions:
- Are you at least 18 years of age?
- Are you at least 21 years of age to be able to drive a company or client vehicle?
- Do you have a high school diploma or GED?
- Do you have a clean criminal background and possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history. Do you possess or are you able to obtain a State of California Guard Card?
- Do you have means of contact in the event of an emergency?
- Do you have means of getting to work?
- Are you able to work weekends and holidays, if necessary?
- Are you able to comply with proper grooming standards, which include being clean shaven, or if facial hairs are allowed, insuring they properly groomed: no facial piercing or visible body tattoos and you cannot emit offensive body odors?
- Do you have brown or black shine able shoes or boots with a plain toe to wear with your uniform?
- You must be a non-substance abuser. A condition of your employment requires you to successfully complete a drug screening test. Are you willing to take a drug screening test?
- Company policy prohibits your employment if you are currently employed with another security agency while working for Strategic Security Services. The only exception is if you work for in-house security for a company. Are you currently working for another security agency?
- Do you have strong English speaking and writing skills?
